ALL Scholarship Program Early History For its first ten years the Academy for Lifelong Learning (ALL) was a program of the OSU Alumni Association (OSUAA). In June 2014 this relationship was dissolved, and ALL became a non-profit, 501 (c) (3) corporation, in partnership with the OSU Office of University Relations and Marketing. The year 2014-15 was the first year that ALL offered a scholarship. Due to our previous relationship with OSUAA, the scholarship was announced and advertised by the OSU Financial Aid (FA) office. FA collected the applications, evaluated them based on the criteria provided by ALL, and awarded the scholarship. OSUAA dispersed the money to the recipient. In 2015-16, OSUAA also agreed to fund the ALL scholarship. ALL established the criteria for the scholarship, and FA advertised the scholarship and collected the applications. FA then forwarded these applications to ALL. The ALL Scholarship Committee evaluated the applications and determined the recipient. ALL notified FA, OSUAA, and the Foundation of the recipient, and the Foundation dispersed the money to the recipient, as before. For the year 2016-17 and beyond, ALL advertised and funded the scholarship, and sent the money to OSU Business Office for dispersal to the recipient. Funding The scholarships are funded entirely by dedicated donations. No operating funds are used. To donate to the Scholarship Fund, see the “Make a Donation” button on the Home page. Selection Criteria [2023] Recipient will be a full-time undergraduate OSU student who will complete their degree in the following academic year with a cumulative grade point average of 3.2 or above.
